"I had to drop out of school, which was a very difficult moment. While at home, I was introduced to painting by a friend and took this opportunity to help use my free time wisely. It took me eight months to learn but I sold my works through a friend's contact.

"When I had saved enough money, I enrolled in the Ghanatta College of Arts for a three-year course to improve my skills. It has taken constant practice to master my art.

"The inspiration for my paintings comes from nature, the environment and life experiences. I love the colors and the process I go through when painting. I try to note the ideas that come up to use in other paintings.

"When I first started, it wasn't easy. I continued to sell through the help my friend's contact. However I dream that in the future, the styles, approach and messages of my art will be accepted in every part of the world."
