Abimbola Agbede wurde am 16 Januar 1974 als die Tochter einer Deutschen und eines 

Nigerianers in Washington D.C., USA geboren. Sie hat einen B.A in Germanistik und Kommunikationswissenschaft von der State University of New York at New Paltz. Nach einer Anstellung bei MTV Networks Germany, hat sie einen Richtungswechsel vorgenommen und ist Gesundheits- und Krankenpflegerin geworden. Die Vermischung ihrer kulturellen Einflüsse aus Europa, West Afrika und den Vereinigten Staaten, sowie ihre empathische Natur, die ihre Persönlichkeit ausmacht, spiegelt sich in ihrer Kunst wieder und bleibt ihre Inspiration.
